The K518 double-acting piston seal is a piston seal consisting of one NBR profile ring, two thermoplastic elastomer support rings and two glass-reinforced POM guide rings. K518 is widely preferred in mobile machines where glass reinforced POM guide rings provide better load bearing properties in longer stroke cylinders.
