OIL SEAL - HTK
Shaft sealing rings (HTK), also known as OIL SEAL, are used to separate two liquid or gaseous media in the area of rotating shafts with a small pressure drop. Oil Seal consists of a rubber-elastomer part, a metal reinforcement and a preload spring, which ensures the correct radial pressure of the sealing edge. The elastic outer shell eliminates thermal expansion and surface roughness in the storage area. In some cases, the tension spring or metal frame may be
missing. Special oil seal designs can have a stainless steel spring, a metal shell, a metal sleeve or hydrodynamic edge grooving. They can be double-sided or springless.
SEVANIT
Sevanit is a rotary shaft seal used to seal spaces around larger diameter rotating shafts (rolling mills, mills, marine gearboxes, wind turbines, etc.). To seal shafts up to an internal diameter of 380 mm, it is recommended to preferably use the Oil seal shaft according to ČSN 9401. Unlike Oil seals, sevanits do not have a metal reinforcement, but only a textile-rubber reinforcement ring. Thanks to this flexible reinforcement, it is possible to handle Sevanit well even when installing it in buildings of large diameters. Part of the Sevanit, like the oil seal, is a tension spring.CASSETTE SEAL
These are special shaft seals for very demanding conditions. With their complex construction, they ensure optimal protection against water, dust, mud and other coarse dirt. They are characterized by high resistance and a long service life. This generation was developed based on the ever-increasing requirements for increased durability, functional reliability, environmental protection and simple assembly. It is used for sealing axles and wheel hubs of highly stressed vehicles and industrial gearboxes.
