O-ring according to ISO 3601, material FPM 70 brown, according to cross section, cross section from 2,5mm to 2,95mm
Code: KAT_ISO3601FPMCROSS3_000100Product detailed description
The O-ring is a closed ring with a circular cross-section, which is mainly made of an elastic rubber material, the so-called elastomer. The size of the O-ring is defined by its inner diameter (?d1) and cross-section (?d2). The sealing effect of an O-ring placed in a suitable groove is achieved during assembly by changing the shape of the circular cross-section of the ring (d2) elastically to an elliptical profile by compression. The compressed ring seals the joint between the contact elements or surfaces and the bottom of the groove.
Fluororubber (FPM, FKM)
O-rings made of FKM material excel both in the high range of permissible temperatures (- 20°C to + 200°C, for special design -40°C to +225°C), as well as chemical resistance, both to mineral oils, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, as well as to acids and bases. They also excel in mechanical properties and resistance to aging.
